Hi, I'm Mike Skiff and after serving just over 8 years as a successful Area Director (nearly $4MM in sales!) I officially stepped away from the AD role in 2023 to pursue one of my other passions - providing custom-built automation & AI solutions for local businesses (nerd alert! 🤓😆)

For those of you that know me, it's not a surprise that ever since my early days as an AD I've constantly looked for ways to streamline the systems and processes we have to juggle as an AD. I was always looking for ways to save time, effort, and energy and free up more time to focus on revenue-generating activities.

There are dozens (really hundreds) of apps, tools, workflows, shortcuts, etc. out there for ADs to make managing the madness just a bit more manageable... and it's safe to say I tinkered with just about all of them (again, nerd alert here 🤓👋). I literally used 36 different apps/services to run my business as an AD. All in, I was spending about $316 a month just on software and apps.

All of these tools were useful, but none of them talked to each other or integrated automatically. So I had to build complex systems and Zaps to connect all of these services,and eventually it just got out of hand...

And then it hit me... why not take the same software solution I've successfully provided to local businesses and create a turn-key solution specific to Area Directors?? So I decided to leverage my own software tool that maximizes current technology and incorporates everything in one place -- sales, marketing, automatic follow-up sequences, content creation, event management, and the list goes on...

How does Pub Hero™ work?

Publisher Hero™ is a desktop and mobile digital platform that enables Area Directors to attract, capture, nurture, and convert more leads. Our system helps you get more leads by launching lead generating ads on Facebook, purchasing fresh leads in your market, and follow-up with your leads on auto-pilot.

Is Pub Hero™ now free?

YES! Pub Hero™ is now an official N2 Product provided to Area Directors free of charge.

When can I start using Pub Hero™?

If you're an existing user, you can continue using your account as usual (after you've migrated your account to our new servers).

For all other ADs - we will be rolling this out to the entire company in January 2026! I know, it's hard to be patient when you look at all the functionality this platform brings to your business, but we promise it will be worth the wait :-)

What costs will I be responsible for?

The only costs you incur are your actual usage charges each month. This includes your phone system (calls, SMS messages, voicemails, etc.) Emails, and any of the built-in A.I. functionality. Over the past year, the average AD spends approximately $8-$15 per month in usage charges.

How will I be billed for the usage charges?

Pub Hero™ uses a Wallet system for usage billing.

Here's how it works:

- When you first activate your Pub Hero™ account, you'll be charged $10 that gets deposited into your "Wallet" for your account. These funds are used strictly for usage charges

- As you incur usage charges, they are automatically deducted from your Wallet balance

- When you Wallet balance drops below $1 your card on file is automatically charged for another $10 to re-fresh your Wallet

What are the standard usage rates and what can I expect to pay each month?

The typical Area Director with 1-2 publications averages between $8-$15 in usage charges each month.

Since this is completely pay-what-you-use, you only pay for your actual usage :-)

But you have to take a few very important steps to make sure your account is updated and activated on our new servers under the N2 Co. umbrella

Now that N2 officially owns the Pub Hero™ system, what happens with Mike & the Team?

They aren't going anywhere - and nothing really changes from what you're used to moving forward.

N2 has brought Mike Skiff & Ariel on board to continue overseeing the Pub Hero™ system, training & development, and direct support for at least the next 12 months, and possibly beyond that.

N2 wants to make sure Pub Hero™ is a raving success!

What changes are in store over the next few months with Pub Hero™?

We are focused on building the direct integrations with all the N2 systems so that data in Pub Hero™ and data in Portal, Pub Manager, etc. stays in sync.

As one of our original Pub Hero™ users, you get the benefit of beta testing all of these new features and functionality as we roll them out leading into the January 2026 company-wide rollout.

Will there be training or Office Hours to learn the platform?

Yes! You'll be supported with weekly Office Hours and a robust training library to get up and running as quickly as possible when your account is live in January 2026.

We are also knee-deep in our training and tutorial library to completely overhaul and simplify how to use Pub Hero™ effectively.

When we first launched Pub Hero™ and put together our training and tutorial library, we threw a bunch at you all at once. One of the most common pieces of feedback we get is that the platform can be overwhelming to learn and figure out... so much so that some simply give up.

Good news - we've taken all of that feedback to heart, and we are completely revamping our training and tutorials with a clear focus on the "bare minimum" most important functionality of Pub Hero™ as the focus of our tutorials.

The rest of the training and tutorial library is being organized as a "buffet-style" training portal where you can pick and choose what features you want to use and learn those as you go.
